"Notting Hill" is an interesting novel that is the first English book that I read. I like this book because it helped me to understand some new vocabulary, using the context in where this word was. The different activities that everyone had to do every week were so important to understand this book. After read this novel I admit that I like this kind of book, it is a new thing that I discovery with it. I enjoyed this novel because it had some different kinds of character like: William, Anna, Spike, and the William’s sister. The most interesting characters to me were Anna because she was a famous person but she was able to express her feeling and sharing with other people that was different from her. The other character that was interesting to me was William because he was able to get a good reaction before it was late when he was running to find Anna to tell her his true feelings. Always novel like that needs a character as Spike because is the funny part. Another thing that Spike did, was his exact comment and action to help the main character to see better what happen around him; for example: when Anna was sleeping in the William’s house, when William was talking with his friend about Anna’s feeling, and when he stop the terrific traffic to permit that William arrive early at the Anna’s meet before she leaves London. In conclusion, I would recommend this book and the movie too at my wife and the other English students that want to understand more vocabulary intro her context.
